We welcome all guests from one night bed & breakfast local tourists,  families on holiday,  travelling salesmen and touring walker and cyclists, our options are totally open.   We can offer single person accommodation or family rooms and have available up to eleven rooms on the first floor well away from the hubbub of the lower entertainment rooms.  Tea and coffee facilities are always available, as is television.

Our charges range from £30 single occupancy bed & breakfast to £50 double occupancy (children £10 each extra).

Situated at the far end of the Mill with a balcony and a stunning outlook over our Mill Pond and up the glorious valley we have one double occupancy four poster bedroom for which we charge £80 per night bed & breakfast.

With the high number of visitors to the Gorge throughout the summer months you are well advised to book in advanced for any accommodation you require.

Reservations & Deposits

Reservations can be made by telephone, fax or e-mail, and all rooms are offered subject to availability on receipt of a NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of £10.00 per person per night booked. Last minute reservations must be paid in full with a credit card.

Cancellations

If you have to cancel your booking the hotel shall endeavor to re-let the accommodation but failing this, the following charges will apply:

More than 3 days notice - Deposit only

48hrs notice – 50% of booked value

24hrs notice - 75% of booked value

No notification received at all [i.e. no-show] - 100% of the cost of your booking.

In your own interest we recommend that you obtain holiday insurance.

 Accounts

We accept the following credit & debit cards. Visa, MasterCard & Delta, to pay for accommodation and other services prior to departure from the hotel. Personal cheques are also accepted when supported by the requisites cheque card limit.

 General Notes

We would like to advise guests that check in is after 1pm, unless prior arrangements have been made, and on departure day no later than 11.30am. Parking is free of charge for patrons of the hotel and is located at the rear of the building next to the waterfall. Please note that we have a no smoking policy in line with new Government legislation and the majority of our bedrooms are non-smoking, however smoking rooms are available upon request. No take-away food permitted in hotel bedrooms, any permanent damage must be paid for.

 Dog Friendly

 The Cox’s Mill is totally dog friendly and your four legged family member stays free. We are perfectly situated for dog owners at the base of the Gorge in Cheddar with many interesting and stunning walks to take your pet on. If you would like to bring your dog please advise us upon booking.
